The Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops, is the oldest and the largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex. It was built in XXVI  B.C.
The Cheops pyramid served as a tomb for the Chufu pharaoh's dynasty.
 According to egyptologists, it was under construction for about 10 or 20 years and consists of  2.5 mln stone blocks.


The story says that for 4 thousand years nobody came in there because. Egyptians were afraid the curse. The first men who entered the pyramid was Abd Allah al-Ma'mun. When the city lying in the pyramid area was destroyed,  some blocks from the Pharaoh’s Tomb were  used for its repair, therefore only 138 meters out of its original height of 146,6 meters were left.



In the area of the Pyramid of Cheops there are two smaller pyramids: Chefren and Mykerinos.
 All of these pyramids constitute the most famous "Pyramids Team" and are included in the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

    Please make sure that you understand your own posts. For example, what is this sentence supposed to mean: "When the city was lying in the pyramid area was destroyed for repair was used some block from Pharaoh's Tomb"? Maybe Google Translate knows.

Why the people still believe in supernatural things? Some people believe in supernatural things, some of them sceptical. There are olso thouse who don't accepted the idea of unusuall things. Last time I saw an American bloger's video with UFO over Hollywood. Alissa, the blogger, told us a story about her encounter with a ghost. It was really possible. Most people don't believe in paranormal activities because they need hard evidence to supported them.  In my opinion supernatural things egsisted but sometimes we need explonations of these unnatural situations to be able to believe them.

Machu Picchu was discovered by Hiram Bingham July 24th in 1911. That's abandoned town was found between mountains and jungle in  Peru. At first time he thought it was the last capital city of Inca - Vilcabamba.                                                                                                     What means Machu Picchu ?     In Quechua language means : old peak and is the reference to the top Huayana Picchu - young peak. Discovered in 1911 city has surfaces 5km2 and is located in the Andes in the altitude from 2090 to 2400 meters  above sea level.
